Weekend Wrap-Up!

This weekend Keith and I watched our niece and nephew Nick and Natalie. Their dad had business in Hawaii and their mom decided to tag-a-long. We were so happy to have the extra time with our awesome niece and nephew!

On Friday Keith picked them up from being with their other grandma and grandpa because he got done early at the hospital. Friday night we just ordered pizza, played video games, read some magazines (mainly me) and Keith did some studying. Nat, Keith's mom and I played some fun board games and then it was time to hit the hay.

On Saturday Keith headed to work early and I stuck around the house to put some laundry away and then headed to the gym. The kids went with MIL Barbara to an "old people party" for her their great-aunt Irma. I spent a little time at my parents' house with this guy

and caught up with my mom and dad. Next I needed to go to Staples for primary colored paper to make tangrams for my kindergarten class. They are going to make tangram art this week! I stopped into Hallamark for some stickers for my class and a card and a 'lil somethin' for my hubby. I bought him a little Disney plaque.

and a card to encourage him to feel confident about his board exam tomorrow. He has been studying really hard for so long and I am really praying he does well!

Next I went to R.A.F.T. (Resource Area for Teaching) to use the die-cuts. When I was done I met mother-in-law Barbara, Nick and Nat at the mall for a little shopping. When Keith came home from work we all headed to Fresh Choice for a quick dinner and then came home to veg out for the night.

Sunday morning Keith and I headed out early to Starbuck's for coffee, lattes and hot chocolates for the kids, then we made pumpkin Mickey Mouse waffles with the waffle maker.

Nat and I dropped Nick off at his game and Keith stayed home to study. Natalie and I ran to Diddams between dropping Nick off and going back to watch the game. Nat helped me pick out some fun Halloween and Fall decorations for my classroom, which you will see in an upcoming post real soon.

Later in the afternoon, after lunch and little downtime, Natalie and I headed to Burlingame for the Saint Catherine of Siena School Fall Festival. We went there to see my other sister-in-law and niece. Keiths brother and his wife submit their chili every year in the Chili Cookoff. I'm sure it was delicious! The kids played games and rode rides. When we got home I went to the store for groceries and then came home to relax before starting dinner.

That's it for this weekend wrap-up! We were very, very busy this weekend. Hope next weekend is slower...

How was your weekend?
