Here is what I'm loving on this wonderful Wednesday...

I'm loving the upcoming three day weekend. We have a concert, family visiting, a Sunday together doing whatever we want and and extra day on Monday to see "The Social Network". I am going to do some movie reviews for the two I'm seeing this weekend, "Social Network" and "Life As We Know It".
I'm loving "Boardwalk Empire". Period pieces are so my favorite kind of entertainment (Hello, "Mad Men"!). This one can be a bit violent (at one point prohibition Agent Nelson Van Alden sticks his entire hand into the open wound of a bad guy to get him to talk) and a little disgusting (main character Nucky has a girlfriend Lucy who has a problem with wearing clothes, apparently), but the authenticity of the clothing, current events and social norms is very entertaining. If you have an interest in old stuff and its history like I do, you will really like this show. Oh, and Martin Scorsese directed the first episode of season one, so you know it has got to be well made.
