Here is what you will need:
For the pies:
- 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
- 1 package Keebler Ready Crust Apple Pie crusts
- 1 pin vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, soft
- 1/4 flour
The line up.
preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Combine brown sugar, butter and flour in a medium size bowl.
Place mini pie shells on a baking sheet.
Fill the shells with pie filling.
And then evenly divide crumb topping between the shells.
Close-up!
Bake for 25 minutes, or until bubbly and "crispy" looking. Let shells cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes before serving.
Top with one larger scoop of vanilla ice cream.
I really like how easy this was for a week night treat and I always find mini hings so appealing and adorable. I would definitely make my own filling next time. I had never tried making apple pie with a canned filling before and I don't think I will do it ever again. Apple pie is so much better with freshly cut apples and spices. Not bad for a quick apple pie fix.
If you have more than 30 minutes I HIGHLY recommend this apple pie recipe. Its a Good Morning America winning recipe for Crunchy Caramel Apple Pie from 2001 and it is always a hit whenever I make it.
