Wine Friday: Robert Mondavi Private Selection Chardonnay

I'm so happy to be linking up with Kendall this week for Wine Friday! I just love the idea of trying and reviewing a new wine each week--such a brilliant idea!

I love wine. I really do, and I don't discriminate either. I'll try all kinds, red, white, Chardonnay, Champagne, Pinot Noir, Malbec, you name it.

Now, I have a few tried and true favorites that I'm looking forward to sharing with you, but I'm also excited for this weekly post because I know it will keep me committed to trying something new each week!

I'll try to keep each bottle under $15 a pop, but every once in a while I'll be sharing wines we've bought at wineries in Napa, which are usually double.

So, without further ado...

This is a wine I know very well. We served it at our wedding, so we had a over a case left after the big day! Good thing I like it, right? Even after I finished using up the bottles as hostess gifts, for cooking or entertaining, I've still continued to buy it at the store.

Robert Mondavi Private Selection Chardonnay
Year: 2009
Origin: Central Coast of California
Average Price: $10.58
Wine Notes from Vineyard: Our Central Coast Chardonnay grapes enjoyed an extended period maturing on the vine, resulting in fruit with impressively concentrated flavors and richness. Apple, pineapple, and pear aromas with a tangy light-to-medium body and a lemon curd finish.
