Buffalo Snack Mix

Happy Father's Day!!!

Keith loooves buffalo anything, so as part of his Father's Day gift I made him some Buffalo Snack Mix. I used this Betty Crocker recipe as inspiration. I added a bit more hot sauce to mine and would add even more next time. I have to warn you, when you pull this out of the microwave the hot sauce fumes might make you choke a bit because they are so spicy!
Here is what you'll need:
Buffalo Snack Mix
4 cups Rice Chex cereal
4 cups Wheat Chex cereal
2 cups Parmesan-flavored crackers (I used Cheez-It Duoz, which is cheddar and parm crackers)
2 cups pretzel twists
6 tablespoons butter
2 1/2 tablespoons hot sauce (I used Frank's, which is the best)
1packet ranch dressing mix
2 teaspoons celery seed (I used some celery salt since that's what I happened to have)

Directions
1. In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals, crackers and pretzels; set aside. In small microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High about 40 seconds or until melted. Stir in hot sauce and seasonings. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated.

2. Microwave uncovered on High 4 to 5 minutes, thoroughly stirring every 2 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container.

I bought this container for under $6 at Target and used card stock, a craft punch and some ribbon to personalize it. Keith loved this snack mix!
