Meet the Sullivans: Anne Turns 30!

Anne Turns 30!

Well wow! About a year ago I shared the birthday celebration of my friend Hilary, who was the first of my friends from high school to turn 30. In the past 12 months we have celebrated my 30th, Nicole's, Jackie's, Allison's and now Anne's.

On a little side note I want to point out how lame I feel for not documenting the other girls' celebrations. I even forgot to post about my own. Blogging fail.

Anne's husband and mother-in-law hosted a big group of us up in Napa for the day last Saturday. We started with brunch at their Anne's in-law's home and then headed off in two limos to visit a few wineries.

We started the day at Domaine Carneros, where we tasted a few delicious champagnes.

The girls in our group: Allison, Rosanna, Kathee, Julie, the birthday girl Anne, Jackie, me and Hilary.

The men: Jordan, Blair, Jim, Jaeson, Keith and Juan.

The birthday girl Anne and her hubby Jaeson are very very good friends of ours. We have so much fun together! We've been on countless trips to Napa together.

The Berry's. Isn't the terrace beautiful?

Cheers to 30!

With 14 in our group we fit comfortably into the two limos. It was like musical chairs, at each stop we switched up who rode in which limo. I have to admit, although I miss my handsome husband, my favorite was when we spilt up and went with all the girls in one limo!

Our second stop was the breathtaking Signorello Estate. The grounds of this winery are small and make you feel like you're visiting someone's home. The view is just priceless.

The view just takes your breath away!

We did our tasting at Signorello out by the infinity pool. Isn't the back of my sister's dress so pretty?

Cheers to 30 (again)!!

Our third stop was at the ever popular Napa stop, V. Sattui. Sattui, is the polar opposite of our second stop. Its picnic grounds like, busy and super casual. You can order food in the deli and snag a picnic bench outside to enjoy your lunch. We didn't do any tastings there. We chatted, relaxed, ate cheese, bread, dips and deli meats and sipped a little vino before heading out.

Our fourth and final stop was at Chimney Rock. This was our first time here and it was incredibly packed! We had fun hanging out, trying some more wines!

A few of the ladies before heading home.

We headed back to the Caulley's for a BBQ, swimming for some of us, cruising around the golf course in the golf cart for some of the guys, and of course tons more fun!

I completely forgot to get a picture of Anne opening her gift. As you may know we had a tradition of giving each of our friends from high school something from Tiffany & Co. For Anne we chose these darling bow earrings.

Happy 30th Annie!!!
