Meet the Sullivans: Citrus Sea Salt Body Scrub

Citrus Sea Salt Body Scrub

I made these body scrubs for a few people this holiday season and even put a few in gift baskets. I mixed the ingredients right into the Ball Collection Elite 4 Pack 16 OZ Platinum Wide Mouth Jars I used. I bought mine at Target in the kitchen tools section, but you can buy them on Amazon for half the price.

Here is an easy recipe for a salt scrub that you can make with ingredients found in your own kitchen. You’re just moments away from shiny new skin! Or from giving a fresh and thoughtful gift!

What you will need:
5 tablespoons sea salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lemon, juiced and peel grated

First mix the olive oil and sea salt together. Once the salt gets coated by the oil, the lemon won’t dissolve it! Next cut the lemon in half and squeeze over the salt + oil. Mix and mash. (Feel free to adjust the recipe to your liking.) Then scrub away!!

I sprayed the tops of the jars with Chalkboard Spray Paint a few times and then the next day I wrote what was inside on the top so the recipient of the scrub would know what's inside.

I think this makes a great addition to a gift basket and adds a personal & thoughtful touch!
