Meet the Sullivans: Be Mine, Valentine!

Be Mine, Valentine!

Valentine's Day 2013

This year our Valentine's Day will go something like this:

I'd made Heart-Shaped Egg-in-Hole for my guys and I before Keith left for work.

Owen and I will spend the day doing our usual: reading books, playing and running errands.

To get into the spirit of Valentine's Day I painted my nails using my new favorite Spring time color, Essie Playdate.

We started a bit of a tradition last year of having crab cakes, rosemary roasted potatoes (one of Keith's faves) and green beans. Nothing super fancy, but delicious and easy since I just pick up the crab cakes from Crystal Springs Fish & Poultry and pan fry them.

We're both trying to eat a little healthier, so I'm making Guiltless Banana Ice Cream for desser, which we've really been loving. It's so easy and the only ingredient is bananas!

After putting Owen to bed we'll relax and watch a movie and a few shows.

We're not big into Valentine's Day, but I always love a reason to be festive! We don't exchange gifts, we usually just have a nice dinner out (before O) or at home and exchange cards. It's stress free, just the way it should be!

I also wanted to share with you the two photos below. The top one is of Owen last year on his First Valentine's Day, which was also the day of his first ever SMILE! Wasn't he a love? He still is a love--that's why he's covered in kisses!
xoxo, Happy Valentine's Day!!
