Dressing the Lucky Little Lads for St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day is one of my favorite holidays. I love all holidays. I'll take any opportunity to celebrate and be festive, but St. Patrick's Day is way up at the top of my list. How could I not with a name like Colleen Sullivan (née Collins). My first name literally means "Irish girl".

We used to spend St. Patty's day doing a bar crawl with some friends and having a few Irish Car Bombs along the way (if you don't know, now you know), and we always took this as an opportunity to wear green.

Now that those bar crawl days are long gone, we celebrate by enjoying a traditional dinner with our families. I can't wait to dress my little Owen up for our favorite holiday!

Here is our little family last St. Patrick's Day when Owen was a wee 2 months old. Oh how quickly babies grow.

And if you're interested in some amazing bread you can make my Irish Soda Bread or Irish Coffee Muffins for your St. Patrick's Day celebration. The bread is really good toasted with butter for breakfast or served with dinner. I bake two loaves every year for our dinner and they're gobbled up fast.
