Saturday was gorgeous and only a little cool, but the sun was shinning! My mom, sister, Owen and I went to lunch at The Melt and did a little shopping around Stanford Shopping Center. The best part of that place is that it's outdoors and in the Spring the flowers are so pretty. Owen has been big into smelling all of the flowers he comes across lately. So sweet!
Sunday morning I made whole wheat blueberry pancake for us all to enjoy. I don't know why, but previous to this experience I have never been able to make an acceptable pancake. I think I had the consistency too thick because mine would never cook all the way through. I seriously wish I could tell you that Owen loved this (because wouldn't you think he would?), but he didn't. Boo.
Owen and Dean had a ball dancing to the Hot Dog song and eating tortilla chips! Owen was seriously in his element. He has the greatest time!
AND we all got to meet Nicole and Brian's new baby girl, the beautiful Miss Eva! She is the sweetest baby and she was so mellow. A complete angel. I don't remember Owen being so easy going in those first months--maybe it's a girl thing?
This little magnetic white board is one of my favorite recent Target finds, and it was only $1. How awesome is that? I like being able to see what's for dinner at glance. It helps me remember if I need to defrost something or prep something, etc. I hope it will keep me accountable with this whole meal planning thing.
Anyway, happy Monday friends!

I can't believe Owen didn't like his pancakes! They look so yummy!
Such a fun weekend!! I love Owen smelling the flowers- so cute!! And your weekly meal planner looks ah-mazing. I need one!
I am officially the worst pancake maker/flipper of all time. Can't do it. For something so basic, I simply can't master it and have to leave it to the hubs.
Owen is adorable!
