With Summer's hot hot days and evenings creeping closer I know I'll be yearning for my coffees, but I'll want to stay cool too. Buy a cappuccino or another blended coffee drink out isn't always in the budget, so I'm excited to have this new recipe in my arsenal of drinks! I'll be making many of these this summer!
To make the coffee ice cubes you'll need for this drink I made two strong cups of french roast using the Keurig
Ingredients
10 cubes of extra-strong frozen coffee
1/2 cup low-fat milk
a handful of ice
whipped cream (optional)
Directions
1. Place all ingredients in the pitcher of your blender and blend until ice is smooth and all ingredients are well mixed.
2. Pour into a glass, top with whipped cream and ENJOY!
I noticed that the drink settles quickly, so be prepared to stir it a little or just drink it quickly! I think thsi would also be great with a splash of your favorite coffee creamer too! My current favorite is International Delight Caramel Macchiato.
What's your favorite coffee drink? How do you drink your coffee? Are you a 2+ cups a day person like me?

Yum! I love ice coffee when it's too hot for the regular stuff!
And a cute straw and cup always make drinks more fun! :) Good choice!
YUM!!! That coffee frapp looks amazing!!!
OMG seriously looks like a dream! I cut out caffeine 5.5 months ago when we found out I was pregnant- I know they say its okay but I just never went back to it after the first trimester- but this looks delicious!
That looks SO good! I'm such a coffee addict and usually have four or five cups each morning. Yikes! Now that I'm preggers I've cut out coffee completely and am all about some steamers. However as soon as the baby gets here I'm going to recreate your frappe. What fun topping is that??
Oh my gosh, this looks divine! I'm usually good with 1 (big) cup in the morning, but by 3:00 I need a little pick me up to get through the rest of the day. Saving this recipe for exactly that! Thanks for sharing!
Delish! I need to get on the iced coffee train asap now that it's hot. I look forward to my cuppa coffee every morning too!
Oh my!!! That looks delish! I can't wait to try it!!
