Saturday night Owen fell asleep in our bed super early -- isn't he a little angel?

As adorable as that sweaty little bundle of love is, we decided to put him in his crib and have a mommy / daddy movie night --complete with pizza delivery and Diet Cokes on ice, we're wild wild people, my friends. The movie of choice was American Graffiti, a classic I have been dying to watch!

I love "coming of age" movies (hello, , especially ones that are also a period piece. Harrison Ford was so young! And so was Ron Howard! I loved the cars, the clothes, the slang ( hearing "bitchin'" and "boss" just makes me giggle!) and the MUSIC!

After the movie was over I was checking some things out online and saw these adorable 1960's / retro/ Americana clothes for little boys from Gap that reminded me exactly of the clothes in the movie.

How cute, right? I seriously want to buy Owen the varsity jacket and have him be a High School Quarterback for Halloween. Now if only we had a little girl we could dress up as his head cheerleader little sister...!

I'm linking up this morning with Kelly, Megan, Lindsay and guest host Carly from Our Perfect Mess for Trendy Tot Tuesday.
