Meet the Sullivans: It's a Halloween Pajama Party!!

It's a Halloween Pajama Party!!

Good morning, friends! I'm linking up this morning with the sweet ladies behind The Good Life and The Tichenor Family blogs for their Halloween Pajama Party Link-Up!

I had one heck of a time getting any kind of photos that weren't blurry and where Owen was looking at the camera yesterday. I think I had my ISO too high, so the quality isn't great and he was seriously squirmy ...but he's still pretty darn cute (if I do say so myself!), so I think the less than stellar photos are okay.

I thought books would keep him occupied, but NO!

Maybe the singing, dancing Franken-dog will do the trick? Nope.

He's mostly interested in my camera and grabbing at the lens. It's HILarious, apparently!

Planning his escape...

And he's GONE, and running for the stairs....

Owen has a handful of Halloween jammies, but of course these were the only clean ones yesterday when I went to take pictures. Oh well! They're just simple Target ones with orange and black monsters all over them.

I can't wait to see everyone else's little ghosts and goblins in their cozy Halloween jams! All the details are on the invitation below if you're interested in linking up!

PS. I'll be back to contributing to Thirsty Thursday tomorrow, so be sure to check back for a great cocktail recipe!!!

I can completely relate with the attempts at picture taking but I LOVE these! Looks like you captured his sweet little self perfectly! He is such a gorgeous little boy. ( I can say gorgeous right!?) Just the sweetest.

Taking a toddler's picture is seriously difficult!! Unless you don't mind them blurry, of course ;) Owen is such a cutie pie! Love his jams!

The last 2 pictures are the BEST! Love his tongue sticking out, too cute! :) And is that your bed!? If so, that headboard needs to be mine!

So cute!!! I had the exact same problem with Ella! :) His little smile is priceless!

Where did that BIG boy come from? He looks so grown up here!

He looks so mature in picture 4, like you can almost see how he will look as a teenager - crazy! Such a handsome little man you have on your hands. Change out those pics for Aria and you've got my picture taking story - same books, similar dancing dog, and camera lens obsession too.

Cutie. Patootie. That's all.

Ha, I was having the same problem with a little boy that moves too quick! What a sweet boy! what lens do you use?

Colleen Sullivan said...

I just use the stock 18-55mm lens that came with my Canon Rebel -- nothing special!

It is our bed, and it's tiny! The headboard is from Amazon and I just love it. Makes all the difference in the room.

Thanks, you're so sweet! I seriously wish I could take Jenny Collier's class on getting good pictures of your kids!

Thank you :) I probably have a million "escape" pictures of him -- he's either trying to grab my camera or run from it!
