I'm linking up with the sweet ladies behind The Good Life, Carolina Charm, A. Liz Adventures, and Hello Happiness for 5 on Friday today!
1. Early this morning we got an email letting us know Owen was accepted into the preschool program we applied for!! I was so excited I almost woke Keith up to tell him. It will only be twice a week, so we'll be starting off slow. I am so excited for him to start -- he is going to love school, we just know it!
Next Direct before, and here I go again... How cute is this surfer inspired boy's button down shirt? I could see Owen wearing it almost anywhere and everywhere this summer. I love that it kind of reminds me of something my dad or grandpa would wear. Ordering it stat!
3. Hey bloggers! If you haven't linked up for our Lucky Recipe Linkup yet there is still time! Just post a link to your recipe (for something green or St. Patrick's themed) HERE using the Linky Tools! On Monday you'll be paired up with another blogger, who's recipe you'll recreate, and share on March 17th! That's TWO great recipes you'll be posting in two weeks time! I'm sharing the recipe I make every year, without fail, for St. Patrick's Day, Irish Soda Bread!
4. Green Toys are on Zulily today! They have some great deals on all those cute toys! I picked up the Recycled Recycling Truck for Owen from the Easter Bunny, since he loves watching the recycling trucks go by our house on Wednesdays!
5. Cute Things Owen Says - Owen is chatting up a storm these days, telling us everything that comes to his curious little mind. Here is my favorite story from this week:
We were at the park playing and it was getting close to lunch (and nap!!) time, so I told him we had to get going. He, of course, as always, said, "No, Mama!" with such politeness and sweetness. So, I joke with him saying that if we didn't get home to eat lunch soon I would have to eat his tummy. He said, "No!!" This is something we've always joke about (eating him right up!) and it usually gets a laugh out of him. I picked him up, and said, "Well, then can I eat your... arms?", which warranted another, "No!" and a laugh. This went on, as I named his ears, legs, and finally his feet. I said "I'm going to eat your feet then!" to which he said, "No, mommy, they're my favorite!!!". I thought this was so cute that he said his feet are his favorite and adorable that he actually felt like he has a favorite part of himself. What a sweet boy! I love all of him!
Have a fabulous Friday and a great weekend, friends!
