Meet the Sullivans: Weekending

Weekending

What a fun weekend we had this week! The Summer is going by so fast, and I'm already feeling like Fall is rushing us. I'm determined to fully take advantage of all the Summer fun for the next few weeks before we officially bid it farewell on Labor Day. Here's what we were up to this weekend!

O and I spent Saturday morning at the Farmer's Market with my mom. I love that he can walk with me, holding my hand, while we do things like this now instead of having to carry him around the whole time (he refuses the stroller). O picked out some strawberries and mini grapes, and snacked on them while we browsed.

After the Farmer's Market we ventured to Whole Foods for some lunch, shopping and to pick up a bag of goodies (more on what's in that bag later this week). After lunch we did one of my favorite things EVER, touring model homes! No, we're not looking, really, but it sure is fun to check them out! My favorite feature in all of the homes we saw was the loft style media room with built-in surround sound and workspace. And the kitchens? Swoon!

In the afternoon we just hung around home. We totally missed O's nap, so we just kept him going with his usual fun activities, like making mud pies in the backyard.  Then Keith's mom watched O while we went to dinner to celebrate our 4th anniversary. We had a lovely grown-up dinner with a beautiful view of the bay. I'm still dreaming about the lemon drops.

On Sunday we each went for runs in the morning before heading out for a Family Funday adventure. I couldn't remember the last time I went for a run, so I checked my Run Keeper app and my last run was in April! That's a long time! I'm a little sore this morning, but I really enjoyed getting back out for a run. We spent the rest of the morning at the Lawrence Hall of Science checking out the Bug exhibit, followed by lunch at Fenton's.

Honestly, I can't believe how much fun we fit in to two days! Today we'll be hitting the gym and checking things of our to do lists. How was your weekend?

What a fun weekend, and Happy Anniversary again!!! We LOVE to go to open houses on Sundays to get some fun ideas...I love seeing how other people furnish and decorate their homes!!

PS Cam is totally not into the stroller, either, so we do lots of walks hand-in-hand (but they always take much longer)!!!

Happy Monday!! xo

Happy 4th anniversary! Your lemon drop was oh-so appropriate, as the traditional gift for four years is fruit! :)

Never had lunch at Whole Foods, but by the looks of it, I need to give it a try. Looks amazing! Yay for a run, too. :) Sounds like a great weekend. And a very Happy Anniversary to your hubs!
