Almost everyone I know likes french fries and loaded baked potatoes, so I thought it would be a brilliant idea to combine them!
Ingredients
2 cups light sour cream
2 cups low-fat sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
2 ounces light cream cheese, softened
10 pieces of bacon
4 green onions, chopped
2 teaspoons hot sauce
2 tablespoons Ranch seasoning
1 bag Cravon Steak Fries, for dipping
Instructions
1.
In a medium size bowl, combine sour cream, cream cheese and cheddar
cheese. Mix in hot sauce, Ranch seasoning, 8 pieces of crumbled bacon
and 3 green onions.
2. Cover and refrigerate for a half hour before serving.
3. Prepare fries according to package directions.
4. When ready to serve top with remaining crumbled bacon and green onions, and serve at room temperature with warm fries.I tried my best to lighten the recipe just a tad by using low-fat and light options when I could, and picked Cravon fries as a vehicle for the dip because they're the healthiest kind of french fry out there. Cravon fries are never fried, they're cut from real potatoes, brushed with olive oil and seasoned with salt & pepper before being flash frozen for freshness.
Cravon Steak Cut Fries are crunchy and golden on the outside, and packed with potato heaven on the inside. These Steak Cut Fries are big, bold and perfect for dipping.
What is your favorite heavy, filing appetizer to serve to a crowd?
This post was sponsored by Cravon, but my adoration for their fries and this recipe are all my own.
