Meet the Sullivans: Thanksgiving 2014

Thanksgiving 2014

We had a lovely Thanksgiving this year! As hectic as it can be, we're always so thankful that we can bounce between both our family's Thanksgivings and see everyone in one day.

The morning started like this, with our silly little turkey.

We played some football, went on a walk and played a pretty competitive (but lighthearted) game of kickball.

Reading Squanto with cousin Megan, and listening to attentively.

In the afternoon we headed over to my Grandpa's house to have dinner, and of course we took lots of pictures in the backyard.

O said his prayers and counted all his blessings!

I made two chocolate pies for Thanksgiving again this year -- one for each house. I used this recipe. It is really easy to make, and next year I am definitely going to make the crust myself.

My Grandpa (O's great-grandpa) just got back from Mexico, and he brought O the cutest sombrero. At first he was a little hesitant to wear it, but after dinner he had a ball dancing around in it.

It was a lovely Thanksgiving!
