Meet the Sullivans: Hey, Friday!

February 27, 2015

Hey, Friday!

Yay it's Friday! While it's been a great week, filled with playing at the park, workouts and school, we're ready for the weekend ahead!

/ one / When you can't shop the only thing you want to do is SHOP. I've kept to my promise, which doesn't say a ton about me, because it's only been little more than a week, but here are 5 things that have caught my eye in last 10 days that I have not bought, but sure wanted too.

Sigh...

IN other news...

/ two / Most mornings I make a smoothie for breakfast because 1. it is the easiest thing to throw together for myself 2. it's healthier than bacon and eggs, which is what I really want.

My go-to smoothie this week has been the Chocolate PB Banana:

1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 banana
1 1/2 tbsp peanut butter
8 oz almond milk (I buy the Pure kind without all the junk in it)
1 handful ice cubes

/ three / Earlier this week I shared 8 Things to Always Keep in Your Gym Bag and 8 Meatless Meals for Lent. I guess 8 was a magic number for me this week.

/ four / I bought O this adorable shirt for St. Patrick's Day from The Blue Envelope. I usually go with an applique shirt, but once I saw this I thought it would be perfect!

/ five / We had the Greek Turkey Burgers that were on our menu this week, and they were fantastic and I want you to know how highly I recommend them! Keith and I agreed they were even better the next day on their own with no bun, etc.

I hope you have a lovely weekend!

I'm all about the bacon and eggs :p I'll let you make my smoothies for me! I'm way too lazy to get all my stuff out. Cooking up something in the skillet feels so much faster to me?

Love those earrings! I would not be able to go without spending, I'm the worst... maybe I should challenge myself though! Even a week would be an accomplishment. With that being said I'm heading over to the blue envelope now to order a St. Patty's day shirt ;)

Loving that workout tank. I only have a couple workout tanks I rotate all week, but I find myself hesitating to pull the plug and buy any more. I can't wait to see Owen in his shirt. I know he's going to be so adorable!

You should! They're great!!

I haven't tried Shakeology, but I'm always hearing about it. Is it just like a protein powder?

Colleen said...

Oh my gosh, it took some serious willpower to not buy the earrings when I was in there buying a gift this week. SO.HARD.

Colleen said...

Isn't it? I want him to wear it all week long!

Colleen said...

So do we! These ones could be great as meatballs too :)

Colleen said...

Oh I looooove bacon and eggs :) Smoothies are so much faster-- just dump it all in and blend!

Yeah it has been a serious challenge to not buy things for myself. It's been about 10 days and we still have 30 to go... The Blue Envelope has some cute baseball style tees too for St.Pat's!

Colleen said...

Me too -- I need a new one bad! I usually wear drifit tees, so I only have a few tanks, but they're so old.

Stopping by from the linkup! I love chocolate pb banana smoothies. SO good!

Had to laugh - when I was on a "no buying" challenge in January, it was SO HARD to not buy anything. Even just browsing was a no go. So stay strong!! :) Hope you're having a great weekend! Thanks for linking up at H54F!
