January in Review

In January we celebrated O's 3rd birthday, started back at school, switched O to a toddler bed, explored Pier 39 and took O on his first train ride! It was a fun filled month!

In January, when I set my goals for the year I also decided to set a few monthly ones as well...

January Goals:
  • Make clam chowder, which I did and shared the recipe here.
  • Finish reading Not That Kind of Girl and move on to the next book on my list. I also read Drinking & Tweeting and started reading Wild, which is great.
  • Find a 10k to run in the Spring. We're still unsure if we're doing Bay to Breakers or the Presidio 10k.
  • Create a plan for some lessons for O in February. I have a few activities planned for us and I'll share them with you this month.
  • Make a plan of action for potty training. Started a potty chart and reward system. I'm waiting for a weekend when we won't need to be anywhere so we can do Potty Boot Camp.
  • Clean out Keith's closet and give away things he doesn't need anymore. Didn't get rid of a whole bag, but we did do away with a few things here and there.
  • Start collecting photos for our 2010-2011 photo book. I've got files on my computer and now all I need to do is upload them to Snapfish and get started with a layout.
  • Take more family photos. We took one photo together last month. Maybe I'll get more in February!
Goals for February:
  • Find my next book after Wild
  • Create and order 2010-2011 photo album and start on 2011-2012 album.
  • Clean out and giveaway Winter clothes I didn't wear this year and Spring / Summer clothes I didn't wear last season.
  • Create and implement a running plan.
  • Try a new healthy dinner recipe.
