Goal: Make healthy choices for me and my family, including making healthy food choices and staying active.
Highlight of last week: Running and not feeling like I want to stop!
Challenge of last week: Same challenge we all have, Valentine's Day! There were fries, sandwiches, cookies, cocktails and candy -- back to reality today!

Workouts: 4! Went to the gym for my regular weight workouts Monday, Wednesday and Friday followed by 1.5-2 mile treadmill runs afterward. Thursday I did some light weights and the elliptical. My knees are sore, but still no pain. My body wants to keep running but my knees are bailing on me.
Lessons I learned this week: Keeping my gym bag packed and ready to go greatly increases the chance I'll make it to the gym.
Here is our menu plan for this week:
monday - taco bowls
tuesday - herbed chicken parmsean
wednesday - carne asada lettuce wrap tacos
thursday - one pan spaghetti squash
friday - slow cooker pulled pork tacos
I'll be sharing the Spinach, Chicken and Pesto Soup we had last week later this week! What's on your nutritional and fitness agenda this week?

You are doing an awesome job getting to the gym so frequently! While Liam likes ours, he loves other things way more, so I don't go as often as I would like. Our social life calls and we play with friends instead...if only I could do it all!
Finishing off my girl scout cookies for Fat Tuesday, then diving in to meal planning better and getting a more organized home gym spot set up so I can get off these last pounds after baby.. But I totally agree, not really worried about the number, I want to fit in my clothes better and build back muscle.
Mmm - might be turning our leftover shredded pork into those tacos!! :)
Thank you! And thanks for stopping by!
