For about a day I considered having him pick a set of character valentines. Something like Ninja Turtles, super heroes, or Star Wars, because I thought he might like those more, but when I showed him the bubbles he was stoked. On Tuesday morning he was even worried because he thought we forgot to bring the bubbles for his friends and was relieved when I told him the exchange was later in the week!
We bought the pack of 24 bubble sticks at Target in the valentine section for just a few dollars. The pack came with blue, light blue, mint and yellow bubbles.
O was stuck on giving the boys in his class the blues, the daddies the green, and when pressed, yellow to the girls. I'm still not sure why the daddies were luck enough to be thought of when it's usually moms working in his class? I guess it a boy thing. We ended up giving all the children blue!
I made the tags using Acorn and printed them at home on heavy card stock. After printing them and cutting them out I punched two holes in each card and fed some twine through the to tie on the bubbles. Easy, and done!

When I picked O up from school he was really excited to open up all his valentines. I made him wait until we were home, because I didn't want him to get into the candy in the car before he had lunch. So many sweet little valentines were waiting inside!
And I have to document the bag he decorated! It is quite the masterpiece!
