My BIG hope with this snack was to encourage him to try some new veggies and snacks that I really think he would like if I could just get him to try them!

His go-to healthy snacks these days are nuts, string cheese, green apples, air popped popcorn, clementines, cucumbers and carrots. Surprisingly, he actually likes more veggies than fruits, so I added blueberries, grapes and strawberries to the mix hoping he'd like those. Bell peppers and snap peas were a hit -- maybe he's just not that into fruit?
I saw these cute carrot and cucumber flowers on Pinterest. He thought it was fun to eat the pretend "flowers" of their "stems". I included a bunny shaped pb&j and flower shaped cheese too.
This was easy to put together and really fun for my little guy! I mean, who doesn't love a buffet?!
How do you make snack time, and trying new foods, fun or interesting for your children?

So stinkin' cute Colleen!
Cute stuff…. I might borrow a few of these
This is adorable! Snack time is pretty boring for us, but mostly because it's usually on the go! I may try and get creative this week!
This is so cute!! Great job!
This is so adorable!! You always make the cutest toddler food :)

What a cute idea! My little man isn't too picky about what he eats, but he is only 16 months, so I guess I have time to find out what he will be picky about! For now he doesn't really care for his own snack cup, it is more about eating out of everyone else's snack cup (even if they have they same thing in it...*face palm*).
Oh my goodness, these are the cutest, Colleen! I want to do this with Charlotte for sure. She is such a snacker, so I know she will love this! :)
So fun, looks GREAT!! I love this idea, pretty simple yet I'm sure it was a highlight for O (and fun for you to put together?!). :) Anytime I take a cookie cutter to our food, make it a 'picture' of something, or add fun accessories (bento box pics), it seems to go down a little easier. Plus, I really do enjoy making meals/snacks festive. :)
This is so creative!!! I love it!! Bookmarking for a few years time! Thank you for sharing! xo
This is SO fun!!! Definitely going to do this for the boys!
