I don't usually attend many blogging events in my area -- it's hard to be out at night during the week, but when I saw the invite for this event at Stitch Fix I knew I didn't want to miss it. You know I love my fixes!
The event started at 6pm in the city, so my mom came by to watch O in between my departure and Keith's arrival home from work. Thank goodness for Granny! I left home at 5pm, an hour before the event started, because the traffic in downtown SF is always crazy at rush hour. It was a madhouse trying to fight my way down Market Street to find parking, but I finally did, and arrived to the Stitch Fix HQ at about 6:15pm, appropriately fashionably late!
The space was set up in the cutest way possible, and I would expect nothing less from this company. There were a variety of little spots set up, like the one above for parents who brought their children along, and a little lounge. There was a ton of amazing apps and hors d'oeuvres -- and champagne of course! But most importantly, there were clothes!
I was really interested to see what kind of pieces and brands they would be offering for the Maternity fixes. I remember having a hard time finding cute, classic, but also stylish pieces to wear when I was pregnant with Owen. It was frustrating, because it was always a task to find something that every other pregnant lady wasn't already rocking.
The clothes they had out on display were cute!, which makes me excited because I absolutely plan on being pregnant again someday (hopefully sooner rather than later) and would love love love to take advantage of their offerings. How cute is that black & white top?
The petites were adorable too, like the navy dress above, but I'm obviously not as interested since at 5ft5 I am not a petite. After getting to talk with a personal stylist who came to the event I was surprised to hear that not many stores are carrying petite sizes in-store anymore. But, rest assured petite friends, Stitch Fix has some great options for you now!
I had such a great time mingling with other moms, and getting to see a few fellow bloggers in the area (Hey, Amy! Hi, TerriAnn!) that I've meet at past events, as well as getting to chat with some of the in house stylists. Everyone was so nice and it was a lot of fun... and the swag was pretty fun too!
Thanks again to Stitch Fix for inviting me!
