10 pictures on the 10th day of the month!
{Document a snapshot of your life & find beauty among the ordinary things in your day!}
Last Thursday was the tenth of the month, so I tried to document our day by
snapping ten photos to show what we were up to. This is Thursday, March 10th, 2016!
Our
day officially started at 6:30am when Owen decided he was up for the
day. He had come into our bed at 4am, Keith was up at 5am for the gym,
and Luke was up at 5:45am to feed, but I consider 6:30am our wake-up
time since it's when we were up for the day.
Owen and I hung out in bed for a bit drinking our coffee and milk.
Owen
hung out on the kitchen counter while I put dinner in the slow cooker
and put the dishes away. He's into playing Starfall on the iPad these
days. Luke was still asleep in bed.
I prepped the Chili & Lime Slow-Cooked Pork and put it in the slow cooker. It's an easy dinner to put together in the morning before we leave!
Luke woke-up and he was just super happy and chatting!
We
made it to the gym, even though I was seriously lacking in energy and
motivation. After my workout we rushed home to eat lunch and get back
out the door to meet up with our friends.
We met up with our friend M and her mom. The kids had a great time playing in the sand and water table and getting soaked.
Luke chilled on my lap for most of our time there. He's such a happy baby, and drooly these days.
It
was really stormy outside, so when we got home we were really happy to
be in the warm dry house. The night before Keith pulled out his super
hero cards from when he was a kid and Owen loves flipping through the
book.
Luke
got a warm bubble bath in the sink before dinner. I'm glad he likes
baths because I love giving them to him. He's just so sweet and
talkative the entire time.
The
time between dinner and bedtime goes by so quickly that I don't even
know where the time went. Luke is still sleeping in our room, and he was
fighting a cold, so each night before bed I fill up the essential oil
diffuser, our humidifier and Owen's. It is quite the task!
